  • A bottle of sparkling wine can be added for £10.00

  • A bottle Champagne is £40.00

Clare Country Park

Clare Castle Country Park in Suffolk, England, was created around the ruins of Clare Castle and incorporates the now defunct Clare railway station on the Colchester to Cambridge branch of the Great Eastern Railway.

The park is beautiful and has a wonderful nature trail and if your feeling fit you can climb the hill up to the turret where there are remains of the castle where you will see beautiful views across the Suffolk count

There is a lovely tearoom now located at the old railway station - definitely worth a visit and a spot of lunch

Cycling in Suffolk

There are a wide choice of various cycling trails around the Boxford area.

Guests can bring their own bikes ( we have lockable storage space ) or we have two mountain bikes for hire for guests during their stay.

The Stableyard Tearoom serves a changing, seasonal menu with a focus on produce from the garden and meat from the farm. Plus, a tasty range of cakes and biscuits to tempt you. Teas and lunches are available on house opening days and special event weekends.
